We just concluded one of the most dynamic internal hackathons we’ve ever hosted, and the results speak for themselves. Over the past couple of weeks, teams across Story came together to prototype ideas that push the boundaries of onchain IP registration, community co-creation, and decentralized innovation. This Hackathon wasn’t only about rapid prototyping, from wellness technology to publishing platforms, AI-trained creators to blockchain-based games, it was an opportunity to bring anyone’s idea to life, showcase what Story can enable, and imagine where it could go next.

Below is a recap of each project and the final rankings based on technical implementation, creativity, product polish, and alignment with our mission.

Finalists Spotlight

1st Place: AI Mirror by Liz Tingue

GitHub Repo

AI Mirror gives creators full control over AI models trained on their own registered IP. Writers, artists, and musicians can fine-tune lightweight models on their voice, aesthetic, and sensibility, then tokenize and license them on Story. A screenwriter’s mirror might help shape a new series in their signature tone, with revenue flowing back to the original creator. A mirror trained by a visual artist could generate fresh works under their name, with onchain attribution built in. An interior designer might offer layout concepts that reflect years of honed taste. Each mirror is a living artifact—part self-portrait, part tool—owned by the creator, anchored in provenance, and powered by Story.

2nd Place: FanForge by Greg Santos

GitHub Repo

FanForge transforms your brand's IP into a powerful fan engagement engine, providing pre-approved assets that superfans can remix into viral content using our intuitive drag-and-drop studio. Every creation goes through streamlined brand moderation and gets registered onchain with automatic royalty splits, turning your biggest fans into officially recognized brand ambassadors who earn real money and rewards. This isn't just user-generated content—it's legally compliant, trackable IP derivatives that scale your brand presence while rewarding your most passionate community members. Brands reduce legal risk while unlocking millions in fan-driven revenue, and creators finally get paid for their passion. FanForge makes fan creativity officially profitable for everyone.

3rd Place: Infinity by Sasi

GitHub Repo

Infinity is a social platform for developers to publish, remix, and share UI components, combining open-source collaboration with onchain provenance. It streamlines component-level IP management and integrates smoothly into developer workflows, offering clear content feeds and practical utility, and an effective vertical use of the Storyl model.

Honorable Mentions

StoryHouse by Bo Wu

GitHub Repo

Story House is a decentralized storytelling platform that enables chapter-level remix licensing and onchain IP registration, allowing collaborative creation with clear rights management.

Aurient by Emma Johnson and Chloe Tan

GitHub Repo

Aurient is an AI-powered wellness companion tailored to women that delivers daily, personalized protocols based on biometric data like HRV, cycle, and sleep. More than just tracking, Aurient turns health into guided, evolving rituals around movement, mindfulness, and nutrition, and it lets users own and monetize their health data through licensing powered by Story.

Core Protocol by Kingter Wang

GitHub Repo

A platform for researchers to tokenize IP, form decentralized grant DAOs, and raise funding through transparent governance.

IppyGacha by Tim Shen

GitHub Repo

IppyGacha is a blockchain-based blindbox mini game that combines randomness, rarity, and IP collectibility in a playful NFT experience.

What Comes Next

Hackathons are more than shipping fast. They’re about surfacing new primitives, stress testing our ideas, and building conviction in directions we may not have seen before. Every team shipped something real, and every project pointed to something possible. We invite you to explore the codebases, watch the team presentations, and contact us if you see an opportunity to build together.
