Story's Developer Mainnet is Live!

Story’s Developer Mainnet is now live and open to validators, ecosystem projects, and core infrastructure partners. This significant milestone initiates the Singularity stage of the network, made possible by the collaboration of our global genesis partners, including Blockdaemon (NA), B-Harvest (APAC), and Luganodes (EU).
Story’s Developer Mainnet is the final stage before the Public Mainnet. The Developer Mainnet allows teams to deploy and test their applications in a closed environment before the system is opened to our entire community via Public Mainnet.
The Singularity stage, initiated by the release of the Developer Mainnet, is designed to bootstrap the network with the following core principles:
- Stability: The Singularity stage lasts approximately 42 days, based on the calculated block time and block numbers. During this period, the network will undergo stabilization.
- Inclusiveness: Developers can submit an application using this form to receive gas tokens for smart contracts deployment and testing. These tokens are NOT meant to be traded or used in commercial or financial applications. Violation of this policy will lead to discontinuation of support from the Story Foundation.
- Fairness: During this stage, genesis validators will neither receive block rewards nor be subject to slashing. Everyone can delegate to any validators. The conclusion of the Singularity stage will trigger the Big Bang, activating block rewards for all active validators.
